Join the party this July 4th at Connell's Pioneer Park for old fashioned fun and barbecue for the whole family. Local volunteers have planned a variety of events to celebrate America's 250th Birthday Party with you!
It all kicks off at 4pm with the National Anthem and reading of the Declaration of Independence moving into the all American picnic BBQ (by donation) complete with hot dogs, hamburgers, and apple pie.
Throughout the event there will be live music, face painting, crafts, vendors, and so much fun.

The fun includes a Cardboard boat race across the pool for people of all ages - build your boats at home and come ready to race. Boats must hold two racers and the cost is $15 per team.

Hobby Horse races will take place at 6pm with a challenging course across the grass, once again all ages can join in.

The Triathlon relay will begin at 7pm with swimming, running, and triking - get your team ready. There will be prizes for the top six teams.
Along with all this you can learn more about Connell's history, and America. Give your song requests and enjoy being together as a community. There will be plenty of laughter, singing, and, as we've said before, fun!
The event runs from 4-9 giving ample time for you to move on over to the CHS ball fields to get your spot to watch the July 4th fireworks display.
Happy 250th Birthday America!
