Dear Editor,
I would encourage everyone to make the trek to the countryside for the 6th annual Christmas On Parade event on Monday December 9th from 4-8 pm. This event features 12 homes that are decorated for Christmas. Some you drive by and some offer goodies and a chance to see some spectacular indoor decorations. Each home is unique in their own way. Before or after the parade, make the Basin City firehall a must stop. A quilt raffle and gift baskets will be featured as well as the kids will have a chance to put on fire gear and climb on a fire truck. 100% of all monies raised is donated to the Connell and Basin City Food Banks.
