Support for families with health issues grows

Support for local families facing health issues is growing in our community. From Meals to local families to local fund-raising efforts.

The community will be coming together for Ben Myer's and his family on Wednesday, March 29 as students and staff at Connell High School wear pink in honor of Ben. Local businesses will also join in on Wednesday, giving a portion of the sales at Kaffrin's Coffee and the Connell Pizza Station to support Ben's fight with Cancer.

The Mesa and Basin City area is selling raffle tickets to support the Mauia family who is also dealing with some unexpected health issues. Tickets are available to purchase through Jennifer Nielson, Tricia Clary, Jarra Scott, or Kelli Niel. Likely you can find most of these ladies at Mesa Elementary.

The Myer's family expressed their appreciation to the community for the "overwhelming" support they have received. The Bingham family also expresses their appreciation for the meals and prayers they received recently.

We truly have a very supportive and giving community that wraps its arms around each other in times of need.
