New business blooms in Connell

“I want to spread some happiness and joy to our community through fresh flowers,” stated Sarah Schuh, owner of In Bloom Boutique in Connell, Washington. “I believe it’s important to honor those you love while you can.”

After dreaming of opening a flower shop for over 20 years, this Connell native began In Bloom Boutique in November of 2022. Inspired by watching her daughters start businesses at young ages and doing amazing things with their lives, Sarah realized, “If I don’t do it now, I never will.”

Schuh and her husband, Travis, have built a floral design studio on their farm outside of town. Her shop offers floral services for every life occasion including birthday, anniversary, funeral, wedding, prom and homecoming, and wrapped arrangements for graduation and performances. Recently she hosted a flower arranging class and plans to schedule more of these enjoyable gatherings in the near future.

Where can you find In Bloom Boutique’s floral arrangements? Every week, Schuh stocks a cooler at Kaffrin’s Coffee with a variety of arrangements. She also provides hand-tied floral wraps to Café Magnolia and to both Country Mercantile locations, as requested. Delivery options are available from Othello to Tri-Cities.

Valentine’s Day is coming up and Schuh has been designing many exclusive specials which will be displayed at Kaffrin’s Coffee, as well as on her website, for delivery.

You can visit In Bloom Boutique’s website at www.yourinbloom.com to place an order or to request something completely unique.

Schuh said one of her dreams is to host vendor events at her farm studio, where other makers from the area can set up for a day of shopping locally and supporting other businesswomen. She acknowledged Connell’s supportive community and looks forward to being a small part of spreading joy to others.
