Tacoma, WA – The Connell Eagles boys and girls wrestling teams sent five (5) wrestlers to State on Friday and Saturday, February 16 and 17, in Tacoma. Wrestling for the Eagles were Eluith Serra and Jackson Forsyth. Vonell Bernal went as an alternate. Representing the Lady Eagles as alternates were Miranda Chavez and Mikaydi Hokanson. Bernall, Chavez, and Hokanson did not have the opportunity to wrestle.
Serra and Forsyth both went 2-2 over the weekend and did not place in the top six (6) individuals. As a team, the boys earned 12 points and finished in 32nd place. Thank you to everyone who supported the Lady Eagles and Eagles wrestling teams all season long.
